CPU 414-4H for redundant S7-400H systems
The 6ES7414-4HJ04-0AB0 is a CPU 414-4H for the Siemens S7-400H redundant automation platform. It supports up to 4,096 digital inputs and 4,096 digital outputs, with a maximum of 244 slots and 244 bytes of input address space. Programming languages include CFC, FBD, LAD, SCL, STL, GRAPH, and HiGraph®. The CPU runs STEP 7 V5.0 SP2 or higher. Two integrated MPI/DP interfaces are standard, with MPI set as default. S7 routing is supported, and the CPU can act as both Modbus client and server via CP and loadable FB.
Physical fit and mounting
The module is 50 mm wide, 290 mm high, and 219 mm deep. It mounts in a standard S7-400 rack; the 50 mm width occupies one slot position. The FM (function module) capacity is 32, limited by the number of slots and connections. The CPU itself does not include an integrated PROFIBUS DP interface beyond MPI; external CPs handle DP, PtP, and LAN connections.
