Integrator note – 32-point DO for S7-400 racks
The 6ES7422-7BL00-0AB0: Short-circuit protection is clocked electronically with a typical response threshold of 0.75 to 1.5 A; wire-break detection flags any open load carrying less than 0.15 mA. Diagnostic and hardware interrupts are parameterizable via the configuration software.
Mounting and wiring constraints
For uprating (paralleling outputs), Siemens allows it only within the same group of 8. Redundant control of a load is also limited to outputs of the same group. The module can also drive a digital input directly when configured for that purpose. Power loss is 8 W typical. Supply voltage range is 20.4 to 28.8 V DC. Residual current at signal '0' is maximum 0.5 mA; minimum voltage for signal '1' is L+ minus 0.8 V.
