CPU 1510-1 PN: S7-1500 mid-range controller with redundancy and built-in PID
The 6ES7510-1DJ00-0AB0 supports PROFINET with MRP as redundancy manager (ring up to 50 devices) and MRPD with IRT. Integrated PID controllers handle temperature and valve positioning. The process image accommodates 32 kbytes each for inputs and outputs, all presented in the process image—no external mapping required.
Communication and protocol support
Ethernet interface runs at 100 Mbps and supports MODBUS TCP alongside PROFINET. Default HTTP and HTTPS server allow standard and user-defined pages. No DHCP client; configure IP statically or via DCP. SNMP, LLDP, and UDP are available for network diagnostics. Programming can be done in LAD, FBD, STL, SCL, and GRAPH—all supported. S7 routing and forcing are enabled. The hardware clock is present.
