Compact failsafe CPU with integrated PROFINET

The Siemens 6ES7510-1SJ00-0AB0 is a compact failsafe CPU, 100 mm wide, with integrated PROFINET and support for FBD and LAD failsafe programming. It includes PROFIsafe for safety communication over the network, and handles up to 32 kbyte of process image for both inputs and outputs. Equipped with MRP redundancy manager/client capability (up to 50 devices in a ring) and MRPD requiring IRT, this CPU fits into high-availability topologies. On-board PID control for temperature and valves simplifies loop applications without extra modules.

DIN-rail mount, 100 mm wide fits standard enclosure. Depth 75 mm leaves room for front connectors and cable bend radius. Terminal access on the front; leave 50 mm clearance below for PROFINET patch cables. Spring-clamp screwless connections on the power supply and integrated I/O—strip 10 mm. PROFINET ports are on the left side; use standard RJ45 cables. For MRP rings, connect port 1 and port 2 to neighbours. No additional PROFINET switch needed for small rings.
