Safety CPU with wide temperature range
The 6ES7511-1FL03-0AB0: The process image is 32 kbyte each for inputs and outputs, all mapped into the I/O space. This CPU also supports DCP, DNS, DHCP, and UDP for industrial network configuration, plus a built-in web server (HTTP/HTTPS) for diagnostics and user pages.
Panel integration and mounting
Network management is covered with SNMP, LLDP, and MRP client capability. The CPU also supports MODBUS TCP for integrating older equipment or SCADA systems.
Diagnostics and field service
Front-panel ERROR and MAINT LEDs give instant status at the cabinet. Forcing is available for non-fail-safe outputs. The CPU includes a PID temperature controller with integrated optimization and a for valve control, useful for process loops. The I²t rating of 0.5 A²·s applies to the internal fuse; observe this limit when calculating short-circuit capacity on the backplane supply.
