Key communication stack
Two PROFINET ports at 100 Mbps with IRT support for isochronous real-time cycles. MRP automanager and MRPD (requires IRT) ensure media-redundant rings for line-tap immunity. The CPU also acts as an MRP manager per IEC 62439-2 Edition 2.0. MODBUS TCP is on-board, so bridging legacy RTU networks to PROFINET doesn’t require a separate gateway.
