Fits the standard S7-1500 form factor: 70 mm wide × 147 mm tall × 129 mm deep. Ambient range -40 to 70 °C, so it's happy in a hot cabinet or cold warehouse. Up to 8 communication modules can be added via the backplane (PROFIBUS, additional PROFINET, Ethernet), giving flexibility for legacy fieldbuses.
