Product details

Siemens 6ES7515-2AM02-0AB0 provides a 32 kbyte input process image and a 32 kbyte output process image. It runs MRP automanager per IEC 62439-2, so a redundant ring topology can be set up without an external MRP switch. Two PID controllers are built in — one for temperature loops (PID-Temp) and one for valve positioning — eliminating the need for a separate controller on those common applications. Rated for -40 to 70 °C ambient, which covers unheated warehouses or enclosures near process heat. Up to eight communication modules (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet) can be added via the rack, covering MODBUS TCP as well. Includes ERROR and MAINT LEDs for quick on-site fault indication, plus I&M data up to I&M3 for asset tracking.
