The 6ES7516-3AN01-0AB0: MRP automanager delivers ring redundancy without external switches, suitable for high-availability line cells. MODBUS TCP enables straightforward integration with third-party HMIs, drives, and SCADA. The CPU also supports PROFINET IRT and MRPD (with IRT requirement), UDP, DHCP, LLDP, SNMP, and HTTP/HTTPS with standard and user pages. The wide temperature range (-40 to 70 °C) and 129 mm depth, 70 mm width, 147 mm height make it suitable for panel-mount in unheated enclosures. Backplane bus supplies up to 32 kbyte of input and output process image each. Programming languages include LAD, FBD, SCL, STL, GRAPH. PID-Temp and controllers with integrated optimization are built-in for temperature and valve control loops.
