Field integration note
The 6ES7522-1BL01-0AB0: 32-channel digital output module for the S7-1500 backplane. Rated for 24 VDC outputs at 0.5 A per channel, with module supply output (MSO) meaning the module can supply power to downstream sensors or loads via the backplane. Switching times: 0 to 1 in 100 µs, 1 to 0 in 500 µs — fast enough for most discrete control loops but not intended for PWM (PWM not supported). Diagnostics suite includes wire-break and short-circuit detection per channel, plus group error and maintenance interrupt. Status and error LEDs per channel for on-site troubleshooting.
Mounting and integration
Occupies 35 mm width on the DIN rail, 147 mm tall, 129 mm deep. Sufficient clearance for cabling at the front connector. Requires firmware version V1.1.0 or later. HW functional status from FS02. Supports isochronous mode for synchronized applications.
