What it is and why it matters
The 6ES7532-5NB00-0AB0: It ships with 40-pole push-in front connectors, so there is no need to order them separately — they are included in the box. The module supports MSO (Mandatory Support Object) for PROFINET IO, and carries full diagnostics (diagnostic alarm, channel and module error LEDs) as well as a RUN LED for status at a glance. Typical power dissipation is 2.7 W, keeping the thermal load low in dense cabinets.
Output ranges and wiring limits
Maximum cable length is 800 m for current outputs, 200 m for voltage outputs — enough for most remote field devices. Wire-break detection is available on current outputs only; short-circuit detection on voltage outputs only.
