What it is and where it bolts in
The Siemens 6ES7534-7QE00-0AB0 is the SIMATIC S7-1500 AI 4×U/I TC analog input module — four channels built around MSI (Yes), MSO (Yes) and PTC (Yes) handling on a 25 mm wide, 147 mm tall, 129 mm deep front plate. It ships with the 40-pole push-in front connector already in the box, so first-fit on the ET 200MP / S7-1500 rack is one card, one connector, one turn of the locking screw. Across the S7-1500 family, the AI 4×U/I TC sits in the same shell as the standard analog cards but is the variant specified where thermocouples and RTDs are the field — its thermocouple list is type B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T; Cu10, Cu50, Cu100, Ni120, Ni200, Ni500, Pt10, Pt50 and Type C / Type L / Type U thermocouples are not in the spec set.
Voltage, RTD, and TC envelope
Voltage input is rated for 0 to 10 V; 0 to +5 V and 0 to +10 V are explicitly out of the module's rating envelope. RTD coverage runs to Pt100, Pt200, Pt500 and Pt1000 plus Ni100 and Ni1000, all at Standard/climate — enough for the conventional Pt100 temperature probes and the lower-resistance Pt/Ni standards a process panel will throw at it, but not the older copper or high-ohm nickel variants listed above. Basic error and noise are stated for integration time 2.5 ms: ±250 mV (±0.02%), ±80 mV (±0.05%), ±50 mV (±0.05%) on voltage; 150 Ohms (±0.02%) on resistance; Pt100 climate ±0.08 K and Ni100 climate ±0.08 K on resistance thermometers; type B, R, S thermocouples ±3 K, and types E, J, K, N, T ±1 K. The ±1 K vs ±3 K spread between the high-temperature platinum types (B, R, S) and the rest is what governs whether a process loop's calibration budget tolerates this card without an external cold-junction box.
