The Siemens 6ES7590-0BD00-0AA0 is the active backplane bus module for the SIMATIC S7-1500 and ET 200MP distributed I/O systems. It provides 5 slots (4 for I/O modules, 1 for IM) on a 35mm grid, allowing 25mm-wide modules to be used. Rated for -40 to 70°C ambient and consumes 2W typical from the backplane.

Requires a S7-1500 mounting rail and slot covers purchased separately. Supports hot swapping of I/O modules when used with an IM 155-5 PN HF from firmware V4.4.1.
