What fits this backplane?
The 6ES7590-0BL00-0AA0 is the active backplane bus for SIMATIC S7-1500 and ET 200MP systems, providing 12 slots for S7-1500 I/O modules with hot-swap support when paired with an IM 155-5 PN HF interface module (FW V4.4.1 or higher). The mounting rail and slot covers are ordered separately. Up to one interface module and up to two power supply modules per station are allowed, leaving the remaining 12 slots for IO/CM/CP/TM modules.
Temperature and mounting
Horizontal installation range spans -30 °C to 60 °C; vertical installation extends from -30 °C to 40 °C. The wider -40 °C to 70 °C storage/transport limit covers the full non-operating envelope. At 434 mm width and 14 mm depth, the backplane occupies a single rail segment and accepts modules on a 35 mm grid; 25 mm-wide modules also fit.
