The Siemens 6ES7922-3BD20-0AF0 is a 20-pole front connector with pre-wired single cores, purpose-built for SIMATIC S7-300 digital I/O modules. It terminates the field wiring into the module's crimp-style terminals, saving panel-build time compared to loose-wire termination. The 3.2 m cable length gives enough reach to dress wires to a nearby DIN-rail terminal block inside a standard enclosure. Rated for 24 V nominal with a maximum of 30 V, it matches the S7-300 backplane voltage for digital signals. Each of the 20 cores is numbered consecutively 1 to 20, with the core number printed on a white adapter contact — no guessing which wire lands on which terminal.
