Slot it onto the S7-1200 DIN rail, single width. Wire external 24V DC supply to the 3-pole terminal block. Connect PROFIBUS via the 9-pin Sub-D. Maximum 32 DP slaves. Max 8 S7 connections per module. Configure with STEP 7 Basic or Professional.
This module is a PROFIBUS DP master; it does not support DPV0 or DPV1 slave profiles — the DPV0 and DPV1 fields are marked No for that reason.
Requires an external 24 V DC supply (20% tolerance) via a 3-pole terminal block. Power consumption is 2.4 W.
Can operate up to 32 DP slaves on the bus.
