Panel fit and power numbers
The 6GK7343-2AH10-0XA0: Dimensions: 40mm wide, 125mm high, 120mm deep. IP20 — cabinet-only, no washdown. Power loss is 4W, which stays cool enough in a standard S7-300 rack. Galvanic isolation is present (rated insulation voltage 500V), so the AS-i segment is isolated from the backplane bus. No SNMP, no web management, no PROFINET or PROFIsafe protocol support — this is a pure AS-Interface gateway over the backplane. Six diagnostic LEDs (RUN, APF, CER, AUP, CM, SF) give you fault status at a glance. Access to analog I/O is via data record transfer; digital I/O goes through the process image or peripheral addressing.
