Environment and connectivity
Rated for 0 to 60 °C operating temperature and IP20 protection — fine for a ventilated control cabinet, even in dusty environments like a mill or crusher house. The PROFIBUS interface uses a 9-pin Sub-D (RS485); the module requires STEP 7 V5.4 SP4 or higher with NCM S7 for PROFIBUS. Power is supplied from the backplane bus at 5 V DC.
