Commissioning note
The 6GK7443-5FX02-0XE0: CP 443-5 Basic connects a SIMATIC S7-400 station to PROFIBUS FMS networks, supporting S5-compatible, PG/OP and S7 communication. The number of CPs that can be operated depends on the CPU type — the 'depending on CPU type' note means compatibility is not universal across the S7-400 range. Configuration requires STEP 7 V5.2 SP1 or higher with NCM S7 for PROFIBUS. No PROFINET interface on this module; only the 9-pin Sub-D RS485 port at interface 1.
