Reader fit and field mounting
The Siemens 6GT2398-1DA00 is a stainless steel V2A antenna for the SIMATIC RF300/RF200 family, operating at 13.56 MHz. It mates directly with RF250R, RF350R, and RF350M readers — no adapter needed, just the M8 4-pin female connector on the antenna side. Mounting is through a standard M18 x 1 threaded hole, secured with the two included stainless steel nuts. The 40 mm body depth fits tight panel spaces, and the IP67 seal holds up in washdown zones — food, beverage, or outdoor conveyor lines.
Environmental limits and cable note
Vibration resistance is 200 m/s² and shock is 500 m/s² — it stays put on a pick-and-place arm or a vibrating conveyor frame. This antenna ships without a connection cable. The mating half is a standard M8 4-pin female connector; you supply the cordset to the reader. The ATEX approval of the connected reader applies here — the antenna itself carries IECEx marking.
