The Siemens 6GT2810-2AB04 is a SIMATIC RF630L SmartLabel PET RFID tag — a white, printable label with a 74 x 27 mm footprint and a thickness of just 0.3 mm. It operates across the full UHF band from 860 to 960 MHz, making it usable globally for supply-chain and asset-tracking applications. The tag uses the NXP G2iM chip and supports the EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO 18000-63 protocol, with a read range up to 4 m (reader-dependent).
Memory and data handling
Memory is organized as 96-bit (12-byte) EPC memory, expandable to 256-bit (32-byte), plus 64 bytes of user memory and 208-bit (26-byte) TID memory (112-bit / 14-byte of which is user-programmable TID). The EEPROM-based memory supports lock, unlock, kill, write protection, and password protection — useful for securing data in reusable container tracking or closed-loop logistics. The tag is multitag-capable and transfers data at up to 320 kbit/s.
Environmental tolerance
Rated for read/write access from -20 to +85 °C, and can survive outside the read/write area from -20 to +160 °C — the latter for up to six cycles of 30 minutes each. Storage conditions are 15 to 25 °C with a maximum shelf life of 2 years at 40 to 60% humidity. The PET material withstands torsion and bending stress conditionally. The IP60 rating applies in glued condition, but the label must be protected against humidity — not a washdown tag, so keep it dry.
Printing and mounting
Printable via thermal transfer process (currently specified for Toshiba B-SX4T printers). Fastening is one-side adhesive onto plastic or foil. Supplied on rolls of 2000 units, with a minimum order quantity of 2000 units.
Lifecycle stage is listed as mature — meaning this is an established, stable product that Siemens continues to support but is not a new introduction. No successor order code is provided.
