It operates in the 902–928 MHz UHF band (FCC) and follows the EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO 18000-63 protocol, so it talks to any standard UHF reader that speaks that protocol — not just Siemens hardware, though the system manual notes range is reader-dependent and overrange is possible. The tag measures 50 mm wide by 22.5 mm deep and only 1.6 mm thick — essentially a label form factor. It is white, with a PET top side, and it is printable via thermal transfer process. That means you can put barcodes or human-readable text on it alongside the RFID chip, which is useful when a line worker needs to visually confirm what the reader already picked up.
