Environmental and Deployment Reality
This tag achieves IP67 protection only in the bonded state — once adhered and fully sealed to the surface, it withstands washdown environments including car wash facilities. During read/write access, the operating temperature range is -25 to +85 °C; outside the read/write area, it survives -25 to +130 °C, which covers high-temperature curing cycles or paint ovens. Storage temperature is 5 to 25 °C, and the maximum storage life is 2 years before application. The product contains no backup battery.
System Integration Notes
The tag is designed for the SIMATIC RF600 system and is multitag-capable, meaning multiple labels in the same read field can be inventoried simultaneously. Read range is reader-dependent — the system manual for the RF600 must be consulted for actual range in a given installation; overrange is possible depending on reader power and antenna configuration. The linear polarization of the tag should be aligned with the reader antenna polarization for best read reliability. The label is strongly adhesive on plastic surfaces and is specifically suited for customer-specific custom labeling where a printed logo or barcode is required alongside the RFID inlay. The white PET substrate provides a clean background for high-contrast printing. For applications requiring washdown resistance, ensure the label is fully bonded with no air pockets before exposure to water or cleaning chemicals.
