The 6GT2811-7AD20-2AA0 is a SIMATIC RF690R CMITT UHF RFID reader from the RF600 family, built for fixed-mount identification in logistics and production lines. It powers over Ethernet (PoE) via the RJ45 port, so no separate 24 V DC supply is needed if the network switch provides PoE — though the spec also lists 24 V DC input for installations where PoE isn't available. Four antenna ports let you cover multiple read points (conveyor belts, dock doors, portal entries) from a single reader head. The operating range is -25 to +55 °C, which covers most indoor factory environments and unheated warehouses. One digital input and one digital output are onboard for basic sensor feedback or actuator control — a photoelectric eye at the read zone triggers the input, and the output can fire a pass/fail indicator. No antennas or mounting accessories are included; those are ordered separately to match the application's read range and environmental sealing.
