The Siemens 6GT2812-0EA00 is the RF615A antenna for the SIMATIC RF600 RFID system, tuned for the ETSI frequency band of 865 to 868 MHz. It uses linear polarization and presents a 50 Ω impedance with a maximum VSWR of 2, which keeps reflected power low enough for reliable read ranges in the UHF RFID band. The housing is IP67-rated black PA 6, rated for operation from -20 to +70 °C and storage from -40 to +85 °C. That IP67 rating means the antenna body and its internal electronics are sealed against dust ingress and temporary immersion — suitable for washdown zones in food processing, outdoor gate readers, or conveyor tunnels where hosing is routine. It mounts via two M4 screws and carries an integrated 0.3 m antenna cable terminated with an RP-TNC male connector.
