SINAMICS Smart Line Module for 600 V DC link bus
The Siemens 6SL3130-6TE23-6AB0 is a SINAMICS Smart Line Module — the AC/DC converter that builds and regulates the 600 V DC-link bus for a multi-axis drive group. It takes 380-480 V three-phase AC at 50/60 Hz and delivers 600 V DC at 60 A, good for 36 kW of continuous DC bus power. Internal air cooling keeps the cabinet design simpler than liquid-cooled alternatives; the module ships with the Control Voltage Adapter and DRIVE-CLiQ cable already fitted, so it lands as a ready-to-mount spare part.
The 60 A DC output at 600 V DC sets the maximum continuous current the module can supply to the shared DC bus. That 36 kW rating is the real-world sizing figure: if the sum of all connected motor modules' peak power demands exceeds 36 kW, the bus voltage will sag and the drive group will fault. The 380-480 V AC input range covers 400 V and 480 V nominal grids without a transformer tap change — useful when the same panel design ships to both 50 Hz and 60 Hz regions. Internal air cooling means the module pulls cabinet air through its own heatsink; the enclosure must allow free convection or forced airflow around the mounting position.
