The Siemens 6SL3131-6AE21-0AA1 is a SINAMICS S120 Smart Line Module — the regulated DC supply for a multi-axis servo-drive system. It takes 380-480 V three-phase AC at 50/60 Hz and delivers a regulated 600 V DC bus at 17 A, good for 10 kW of connected motor load. The booksize format with external air cooling means it mounts in a standard S120 cabinet alongside other booksize modules, sharing the DC bus and DRIVE-CLiQ communication. It ships with the Control Voltage Adapter and DRIVE-CLiQ cable included.
The 17 A / 600 V DC output is the bus rating that feeds the connected Motor Modules. If your axis load profile pulls more than 17 A peak, you need a higher-rated Line Module or a parallel configuration. The 10 kW figure is the continuous motor-power capacity at nominal bus voltage — sized for a small multi-axis station or a single large axis. External air cooling means the module pulls its cooling air from outside the cabinet and exhausts back out, so you do not have to oversize the cabinet fan for this heat load. The booksize form factor shares the standard S120 mechanical grid — it clips onto the mounting rail and connects to the DC busbar without extra wiring.
