Drive selection memo — 6SL3200-6AE17-7BH0
Output current is 7.7 A, and the drive delivers up to 550 Hz — suitable for high-speed spindle or centrifuge applications, not just standard pump/fan curves. The built-in Filter B (category B per EN 61800-3) attenuates conducted emissions for first-environment (residential) installations without an external line reactor in most cases. Overload capacity is 110% for 57 seconds and 150% for 3 seconds every 300 seconds — enough for a tough start on a loaded conveyor or a momentary load spike, but not a continuous high-torque application. The drive handles 50/60 Hz line frequencies natively.
I/O and fieldbus — what connects
Onboard I/O includes 4 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 6 digital inputs. Communication is via Modbus/RTU, RS485/USS, or BACnet MS/TP as standard. Optional PROFIBUS, PROFINET, and CANopen modules slot in when the network requires it — good for mixed-protocol plants.
Conformity marks include CE, UL, RCM, and EAC, covering EU, US, Australian, and Eurasian Economic Union installations. The drive is designed to EN 61800-3 (adjustable speed electrical power drive systems).
