Drive for pump and fan duty
The Siemens 6SL3200-6AM21-3BH0 is a G120P variable speed drive in frame size FSB, rated for 5.5 kW output at 400 V with a 13.2 A output current. It carries Filter B for integrated EMC compliance to EN 61800-3, so it meets conducted emission limits for most industrial environments without an external filter — saves a DIN-rail slot and a wiring step. The IP55 enclosure means this drive handles washdown splashes and airborne dust out here in the grease — it'll survive on a pump skid or near a wash bay where a lower-rated drive would suck moisture through the fan grille.
Overload and output capability
Overload capacity is 110% for 57 seconds and 150% for 3 seconds every 300 seconds — that's enough for a pump start or a short conveyor jam without tripping. Output frequency goes to 550 Hz, which suits high-speed spindle or centrifuge applications beyond standard 50/60 Hz motor ranges.
I/O and communications
The drive carries 4 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 6 digital inputs — enough for pressure transducer feedback, setpoint override, and a couple of start/stop commands without an expansion module. Communications include Modbus/RTU, RS485/USS, and BACnet MS/TP onboard; PROFIBUS, PROFINET, and CANopen are optional via plug-in cards. That covers most BMS and PLC networks without a gateway.
Lifecycle and sourcing
Product status is active per Siemens — no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy clock. This is a current-production drive, not a phase-out part you'd have to broker. The drive conforms to CE, EAC, and RCM, covering European, Eurasian, and Australian regulatory markets. Documentation package includes EN 61800-3 compliance data for the EMC declaration.
