The Siemens 6SL3210-1KE12-3AF1 is a SINAMICS G120C variable-frequency drive rated at 0.75 kW with a 150% overload capability for 3 seconds, sized for a 380-480 V three-phase supply at 47-63 Hz. That overload headroom means it handles short-duration load spikes — a conveyor start or a pump breakaway torque — without tripping or needing an oversized frame. The integrated class A EMC filter keeps conducted emissions within limits for industrial environments, so you skip the external filter on most standard line applications. The drive includes a built-in PROFINET PN fieldbus interface, so it drops directly into a Siemens PLC network without an additional communication module. Safe Torque Off (STO) is integrated, meeting SIL 3 / PL e for safety circuits — no separate safety relay needed for the stop function. The I/O complement is 6 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 1 analog input, and 1 analog output, enough for basic speed reference and feedback on a standalone machine.
