Drive selection memo
The Siemens 6SL3210-1KE12-3UC1 is a SINAMICS G120C spare-part drive rated at 0.75 kW with a 150% overload capability for 3 seconds, sized for a standard 0.75 kW induction motor on a 380-480 VAC three-phase supply. The unfiltered input stage means it expects a clean line or an external line reactor for harmonic mitigation; the integrated CANopen fieldbus handles the control network without an option card. The I/O complement — 6 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 1 analog input, 1 analog output — covers basic conveyor or pump control without an expansion module. Safe Torque Off is built in, so it can serve in a safety circuit up to SIL 3 / PL e without an external safety relay.
Panel integration note
The FSA form factor — 196 x 73 x 203 mm (HxWxD) — fits a standard 200 mm deep enclosure; the IP20 / UL Open Type rating means it is intended for a clean, dry cabinet, not a washdown environment. The external 24 V supply powers the control electronics and the CANopen transceiver; the drive draws its main DC bus from the line input. Mounting is via the integral heat sink flange — no DIN rail, so plan for four M5 screws into the backplate.
