The Siemens SINAMICS G120C 6SL3210-1KE15-8UB0 is a 2.2 kW variable-frequency drive rated for 380-480 V 3AC input, with a 150% overload capability for 3 seconds. That overload headroom means it can handle short-duration high-torque demands — starting a loaded conveyor or a pump across a dead-head — without tripping or needing a larger frame. Safe-Torque-Off is integrated on the power module, eliminating the need for a separate safety relay or contactor in many guarding circuits. The drive ships with USS/MODBUS RTU on the integrated fieldbus interface, so it drops into a Modbus RTU network without an extra option card. I/O complement is six digital inputs, two digital outputs, one analog input, and one analog output — enough for basic speed reference and run/stop control without an expansion module. The IP20 / UL Open Type enclosure suits clean, indoor panel environments; mount it in a cabinet with adequate airflow for the FSA frame size (196 x 73 x 203 mm HxWxD).

Integration notes
The FSA frame (196 x 73 x 203 mm) is the smallest in the G120C family — it fits a standard 200 mm deep enclosure with room for wiring ducts. Mount on a backplate, not DIN rail; the drive has no snap-on DIN latch. Leave 100 mm clearance above and below for airflow. Input power range is 380-480 V 3AC +10% / -20%, 47-63 Hz, unfiltered. If the line has significant harmonics or you need conducted emission compliance, plan for an external line reactor or input filter. The drive itself is not filtered.
