The 6SL3210-1KE32-4AF1 is an active-production SINAMICS G120C compact converter, rated 132.0 kW with a 150% overload capability for 3 seconds on a 3AC 380-480 V supply at 47-63 Hz. It integrates a Class A EMC filter, PROFINET-PN fieldbus, and Safe Torque Off as standard — the three features that define the BOM position for a new machine build or a retrofit into a line that already runs G120C units.
132 kW rating — the motor match and overload headroom
The 150% overload for 3 seconds covers the inrush of a loaded conveyor start or a crusher stall recovery — provided the duty cycle keeps the RMS current within the drive's thermal model. The integrated Class A filter means it meets EN 61800-3 first-environment (restricted distribution) conducted emissions limits without an external filter, saving panel space and wiring.
I/O and fieldbus — 6DI, 2DO, 1AI, 1AO, PROFINET-PN
The onboard I/O count — 6 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 1 analog input, 1 analog output — covers a typical VFD control scheme: start/stop, speed reference from a 4-20 mA transducer, and a run-feedback relay. PROFINET-PN with integrated Safe Torque Off eliminates a separate safety relay for the drive axis, provided the safety PLC can close the STO circuit via the fieldbus or hardwired terminals.
