What this PM230 is and what it does
The Siemens 6SL3210-1NE11-7UL1 is a SINAMICS G120 Power Module PM230 — the power stage of a modular drive system. It's rated for 380-480 V 3 AC input, delivers 0.55 kW under low overload (150% for 3 s, 110% for 57 s, 100% continuous), and comes in an IP20 FSA enclosure (196 x 73 x 165 mm). No Control Unit is included; it mates with CU240B/E-2 or CU230P-2 controllers running firmware V4.4 or higher. Note this PM230 variant does not support safety functions.
What the overload ratings mean for your application
The low-overload profile (0.55 kW at 150% for 3 s, 110% for 57 s, 100% continuous) is sized for variable-torque loads like fans and pumps where peak demand is brief. If your load requires sustained high torque (conveyor, extruder), check the high-overload rating of a larger PM230 frame. The 0.55 kW rating at 40 °C ambient — derate above that.

IP20 means it's for clean, dry enclosure mounting — no washdown, no dust. The FSA footprint (196 x 73 x 165 mm) fits a standard backplate; plan for airflow clearance above and below the heatsink. No Control Unit ships with this power module; order the CU separately and verify firmware V4.4 or higher compatibility.
