It ships without a Control Unit — you'll pair it with a CU240B/E-2 or CU230P-2 running firmware V4.4 or higher. The integrated Class A filter covers conducted emissions for most industrial mains, so you can skip the external EMC box in a standard panel. The low-overload curve is the one that matters for continuous-duty fans and pumps: 0.75 kW at 100% load, 110% for 57 seconds, and 150% for 3 seconds to ride through a jam or start a loaded conveyor. Integration Notes
The PM230 mates directly to the CU Control Unit via the internal DC-link and control interface — no separate wiring for the power stage. The FSA frame has a pluggable power connector; torque the mains terminals to 0.6 Nm for 2.5 mm² wire. The integrated filter adds leakage current; ensure the PE bond is low-impedance back to the star point. Firmware on the Control Unit must be V4.4 or higher to recognize this power module. If you're replacing a PM230 in an existing cabinet, check the CU firmware revision before you pull the old one.
