Power module for pump, fan, and conveyor duty
The Siemens 6SL3210-1NE14-1AL1 is a SINAMICS G120 Power Module PM230 rated for 1.5 kW low overload on a 380-480 VAC three-phase supply. The integrated Class A filter meets conducted emission limits for industrial mains without an external filter. IP20 enclosure means it mounts inside a panel, not in a washdown zone. The PM230 variant is optimized for variable-torque loads — pumps, fans, compressors — where the load curve follows the speed squared.
Overload profile and ambient limits
Low-overload duty delivers 1.5 kW continuous with 150 % for 3 seconds, 110 % for 57 seconds, and 100 % for 240 seconds. Ambient temperature range is 0 to +40 °C for the low-overload rating. The FSA frame size (196 x 73 x 165 mm) fits a standard DIN-rail enclosure; plan for 100 mm clearance above and below for airflow.
Control Unit and firmware requirement
This power module ships without a Control Unit. It is released for CU240B/E-2 and CU230P-2 Control Units running firmware V4.4 or higher. No safety functions are supported on the PM230 — if your application requires Safe Torque Off, step up to the PM240-2 variant.
