PM230 for the G120 platform — FSA, 3 kW LO, no safety
The 6SL3210-1NE17-7UL1 is a SINAMICS G120 Power Module PM230 in frame size FSA. It delivers 3 kW under low overload (150% for 3 s, 110% for 57 s, 100% for 240 s) from a 380-480 V three-phase supply, 47-63 Hz. The module is unfiltered and carries IP20 protection, meaning it mounts inside a panel or cabinet — not in a washdown or outdoor location. This PM230 is released for CU240B/E-2 and CU230P-2 Control Units running firmware V4.4 or higher. The manufacturer explicitly notes that this PM230 variant does not support safety functions — if your application requires a safe torque-off or safe stop, this is not the module for that circuit.
Fit and integration notes
The PM230 ships without a Control Unit or operating unit — you supply the CU240B/E-2 or CU230P-2 separately. Dimensions are 196 x 73 x 165 mm (H x W x D), FSA footprint. Ambient rating is 0 to +40 °C for low overload. The module is unfiltered. An external line filter must be added between the supply and the PM230 for conducted emission compliance. The IP20 enclosure means no washdown tolerance.
