The Siemens 6SL3210-1NE23-2UL1 is a SINAMICS G120 Power Module PM230, sized for a 15 kW motor under low-overload duty on a 380-480 V three-phase supply. Low-overload rating means 150 % for 3 s, 110 % for 57 s, and 100 % continuous over a 240 s cycle — enough headroom for pump and fan starts that don't need the high-overload curve. Ambient limit is 0 to +40 °C at low overload; push beyond that and you'll need to derate the output current. This is the unfiltered variant, so it ships without an integrated line filter. If the installation requires conducted emission compliance (EN 55011 Class A or B), plan for an external filter on the line side. The PM230 frame size FSC measures 355 x 140 x 165 mm (HxWxD) and mates with CU240B/E-2 or CU230P-2 control units running firmware V4.4 or higher. No safety functions supported on this module — keep the safe torque-off expansion separate if the application demands it.
Integration checklist
Mounts on a backplate in the standard FSC footprint — no DIN-rail clip on this frame size. The IP20 enclosure means it's for cabinet installation only; keep it behind a gland plate or enclosure door. Power wiring: 380-480 V 3 AC at 47-63 Hz, with a ±10 % tolerance band on the nominal voltage. The module ships without a control unit; order the CU240B/E-2 or CU230P-2 separately and verify firmware V4.4 or higher before commissioning.
