Drive selection memo
The Siemens 6SL3210-1PE13-2AL0 is a SINAMICS G120 Power Module PM240-2 in frame size FSA, rated for 3-phase 380-480 VAC input at 47-63 Hz. It ships without a Control Unit or operator panel — you pair it with a CU2xx series controller to complete the drive. High-overload rating delivers 0.75 kW continuous output, with 200 % overload for 3 seconds, 150 % for 57 seconds, and 100 % for 240 seconds, all at 0 to +50 °C ambient. Low-overload mode bumps continuous output to 1.1 kW but derates the ambient ceiling to +40 °C. The built-in Class A EMC filter and integrated braking chopper mean this module meets conducted emission limits for industrial environments and can handle regenerative loads without an external resistor for light-to-moderate deceleration. For vertical loads or aggressive stop profiles, an external braking resistor is still needed.
Panel integration
FSA frame dimensions are 196 x 73 x 165 mm (H x W x D). Mounts on a standard DIN rail or via the screw flange. IP20 protection means it is intended for enclosure mounting — no washdown rating, so keep it behind a gland plate in a clean, dry cabinet. Spring-cage power terminals accept 0.2–2.5 mm² solid or ferruled stranded. Strip length 8 mm. The control-terminal block is pluggable, which simplifies pre-wiring and swap-out during commissioning.
