SINAMICS V20 drive for basic V/Hz and vector control
The Siemens 6SL3210-5EE21-5UV0 is a SINAMICS V20 variable frequency drive rated for 1.5 kW output on a 380-480 V three-phase supply, with a 150% overload capability for 60 seconds — enough headroom for starting pumps, fans, and light conveyors without oversizing the drive frame. It accepts 380-480 V 3AC at 47-63 Hz and delivers unfiltered output. The built-in Basic Operator Panel (BOP) allows local parameter adjustment and monitoring without a separate programming tool. The I/O complement — 4 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 2 analog inputs, and 1 analog output — covers most standalone machine control needs without an expansion module. Fieldbus connectivity is USS or MODBUS RTU over the integrated RS-485 port.
Mounting and integration
The drive ships in size A format: 150 mm wide, 90 mm high, 145.5 mm deep. IP20 / UL open type means it is intended for installation inside a control cabinet with at least some protection from dust and accidental contact — not for washdown or outdoor placement. Mounting on a standard DIN rail or backplate is straightforward. The compact footprint leaves room alongside a line reactor or output choke if the application demands harmonic mitigation or long motor cable runs.
