Drive for a 0.1 kW servo axis with PROFINET
The Siemens 6SL3210-5FB10-1UF1 is a SINAMICS V90 servo drive rated for 0.1 kW motor output. It accepts 200-240 V 1/3-phase AC input (-15%/+10%) at 2.5/1.5 A and delivers 1.2 A output, 0-330 Hz. The integrated PROFINET interface handles real-time motion control communication directly, no separate option card needed. IP20 degree of protection means this drive is intended for installation inside a control cabinet or enclosure — not for washdown or outdoor placement. The Size A footprint (45x170x170 mm WxHxD) fits standard DIN-rail or panel-mount layouts in compact machine cabinets.

Integration into a servo axis
Sized for a 0.1 kW servo motor on a 200-240 VAC supply. The single-phase input draw is 2.5 A; three-phase drops to 1.5 A. Output frequency spans 0-330 Hz, covering the speed range of most low-power positioning axes — pick-and-place, small conveyors, label applicators. PROFINET is the only fieldbus on this variant; no MODBUS RTU or pulse-train interface is built in. The drive receives its speed/torque setpoint and position target over the network. Commissioning runs through Siemens SINAMICS V-ASSISTANT or a standard PLC engineering tool. IP20 and Size A mean the drive mounts inside a cabinet with at least 50 mm clearance above and below for airflow. The 170 mm depth fits shallow enclosures; the 45 mm width leaves room for a line reactor or braking resistor alongside on the DIN rail.
