The Siemens 6SL3211-0AB21-5AB0 is a SINAMICS G110 CPM110 AC drive rated for 1.5 kW constant torque and 1.5 kW variable torque, fed from a single-phase 200-240 VAC supply (+10/-10%, 47-63 Hz). It carries a built-in Class A EMC filter, so no external filter is needed for standard industrial environments — saves a DIN-rail slot and a wiring step. Communication is via RS485 using the USS protocol, which is the native serial link for Siemens drives. No fieldbus module required for basic speed control from a PLC or operator panel; just a twisted-pair daisy chain. The drive delivers 150% overload for 60 seconds, enough to handle short-duration load spikes on conveyors or pumps without tripping. Ambient temperature range is -10 to +40 °C; above that, derate per the thermal curve.
Physical fit and mounting
Dimensions are 160 mm high, 140 mm wide, 142 mm deep. IP20 rated, so it is intended for clean, dry panel environments only; no washdown or outdoor duty. The drive ships without a BOP (Basic Operator Panel) and without an analog input — control is via the RS485 USS link or the digital I/O terminals on the front. If you need local speed pot or display, order the BOP separately.
