Drive selection memo
The Siemens 6SL3211-0KB13-7BB1 is a SINAMICS G110-CPM110 AC Drive rated for 0.37 kW constant torque (CT) and 0.37 kW variable torque (VT) on a 200-240 V 1 AC supply. It includes an integrated EMC filter and communicates via RS-485 using the USS protocol. The drive is built for cooling plate installation — the flat heat sink must be mounted against a metal panel to dissipate heat; ambient temperature range is -10 to +50 °C. No BOP (basic operator panel) or analog input is included, so parameterization and speed reference come through the serial interface.
Integration note
The drive measures 150 x 90 x 101 mm (HxWxD) and is rated IP20, so it belongs inside a panel, not on the machine frame. The flat heat sink requires a cutout in the backplate for thermal transfer — plan for a cooling plate or sub-panel with good thermal contact. No BOP means the commissioning engineer needs the USS-capable programming tool or a higher-level controller to set parameters.
