Power Module PM230 — integrator constraints
The Siemens 6SL3211-1NE21-8UL0 is a SINAMICS G120 Power Module PM230 in the FSB frame size, rated for 7.5 kW under low overload on a 380-480 V three-phase supply. It ships without a Control Unit or operating panel — you pair it with a CU240B/E-2 or CU230P-2, firmware V4.4 or higher. The PM230 variant does not support safety functions, so if your application needs STO or SS1, step up to the PM240. The low-overload duty cycle is 150 % for 3 s, 110 % for 57 s, and 100 % for 240 s — sized for a pump or fan load that needs short torque bursts, not a constant high-breakaway conveyor. Ambient temperature range is 0 to +40 °C at low overload; derate above that.
