The Siemens 6SL3211-1PB21-0AL0 is a SINAMICS Power Module PM240-2 rated for 1.5 kW high overload (HO) on a 200-240 VAC supply, single- or three-phase. The HO duty cycle delivers 200% current for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, then settles to 100% for 240 seconds — enough to start a loaded conveyor or pump without oversizing the frame. Low overload (LO) mode pushes continuous output to 2.2 kW, but the ambient ceiling drops to +40 °C; at HO you get the full +50 °C ambient. Integrated Class A filter and braking chopper mean no external add-ons for most line-side EMC or dynamic braking needs.
Integration notes
Frame size FSB, 345 x 154 x 171 mm (HxWxD), IP20 protection — panel-mount only, no washdown rating. Ships without a Control Unit or operator panel; mates to any SINAMICS CU via the standard PM-IF interface. The integrated braking chopper handles dynamic brake resistor connection directly; the Class A filter covers conducted emissions for most industrial mains without an external EMC filter.
