Drive selection memo
The 6SL3211-1PB21-8AL0 is a SINAMICS Power Module PM240-2 with an integrated Class A EMC filter and a built-in braking chopper, sized for a 3 kW motor under high overload (200% for 3 s, 150% for 57 s, 100% for 240 s) or a 4 kW motor under low overload (150% for 3 s, 110% for 57 s, 100% for 240 s). Input is 200-240 V 1/3 AC +10/-10%, 47-63 Hz. Ambient temperature range is -10 to +50 °C for high overload, +10 to +40 °C for low overload. The module requires a separate Control Unit and is released as of CU firmware V4.6.
Panel integration
Dimensions are 411 x 200 x 171 mm (HxWxD), Frame Size FSC, with IP20 protection — suitable for enclosure mounting in a dry, non-washdown environment. The integrated braking chopper eliminates the need for an external braking module for most dynamic loads; the Class A filter means no additional external EMC filter is required for CE compliance in industrial networks.
