Drive selection memo
The 6SL3211-1PC26-8UL0 is a SINAMICS G120 PM240-2 Push Through power module sized for a 15 kW motor under high overload (HO) duty or 18.5 kW under low overload (LO), fed from a 3-phase 200-240 VAC supply. The HO profile delivers 200% torque for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds at ambient up to 50 °C; the LO profile gives 150% for 3 seconds, 110% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds at up to 40 °C. The built-in braking chopper handles dynamic deceleration without an external resistor for moderate inertial loads — for high-inertia or vertical loads, add an external braking resistor across the DC bus terminals.
Panel integration notes
The FSD frame measures 517 x 275 x 237 mm (H x W x D) with IP20 protection — suitable for enclosure mounting where the top and bottom gland plates provide cable entry. The Push Through design lets the heatsink protrude through the panel cutout, shifting the thermal load outside the cabinet and reducing internal temperature rise. No control unit or operator panel is included; the module accepts a CU (Control Unit) that slides onto the top interface, compatible with firmware version V4.7 SP6 or later.
