Power module for 200-240 V three-phase lines
The Siemens 6SL3211-1PC31-1UL0 is a SINAMICS G120 PM240-2 Push Through power module, unfiltered with a built-in braking chopper, rated for 3AC 200-240 V +10/-20% at 47-63 Hz. It delivers 22 kW under high overload (HO) — 200% for 3 s, 150% for 57 s, 100% for 240 s at ambient -20 to +50 °C — and 30 kW under low overload (LO) — 150% for 3 s, 110% for 57 s, 100% for 240 s at -20 to +40 °C. The enclosure is IP20, sized 615 x 354 x 237 mm (H x W x D), and ships without a control unit or operator panel; it is approved for CU firmware version V4.7 SP6.
What the overload ratings mean for the buyer
The high-overload (HO) rating of 22 kW is the figure that governs motor starting and cyclic loads — it tells you the module can handle 200% rated current for 3 seconds, which covers the inrush of a standard induction motor on a conveyor or pump. The low-overload (LO) rating of 30 kW applies to continuous-duty applications where overload peaks are shorter and less frequent. If your load profile calls for frequent starts or heavy transient torque, size against the HO curve; for steady-state fan or pump duty, the LO curve gives you headroom. The built-in braking chopper means you can add an external braking resistor for controlled deceleration of high-inertia loads without a separate chopper module.
Panel integration notes
IP20 protection means the module is intended for installation inside a clean, dry enclosure — not for washdown or outdoor locations. The Push Through design allows the heatsink to protrude through the back panel, so the power stage dissipates heat outside the cabinet while the electronics stay inside. Without a control unit (CU) included, you need to order a compatible CU separately (e.g., CU240E-2 or CU250S-2) and match the firmware version V4.7 SP6 for full compatibility. The 615 mm height and 354 mm width require adequate cabinet depth and ventilation clearance above and below the heatsink fins.
