What this power module delivers
The Siemens 6SL3211-1PE16-1AL0 is a SINAMICS G120 Power Module PM240-2 in the FSA frame size, designed for motor control in a distributed drive architecture. It carries a built-in Class A EMC filter and an integrated braking chopper, so you can skip the external filter box and braking resistor for many applications. The module is rated for a 3-phase 380-480 VAC supply at 47-63 Hz. Two overload duty cycles are defined: high overload (HO) at 1.5 kW output, allowing 200% for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds at 0 to +50 °C ambient; low overload (LO) at 2.2 kW output, allowing 150% for 3 seconds, 110% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds at 0 to +40 °C ambient. That means for a constant-torque load like a conveyor or mixer, size to the HO rating; for a variable-torque pump or fan, the LO rating gives you more headroom on the nameplate.
