The Siemens 6SL3211-1PE32-5UL0 is a SINAMICS G120 PM240-2 Push Through power module rated for 3AC 380-480 V +10/-20 %, 47-63 Hz. In low-overload duty (LO) it delivers 132 kW with 150 % overload for 57 s, 110 % for 57 s, and 100 % for 240 s, at an ambient of -20 to +40 °C. In high-overload duty (HO) it delivers 110 kW with 200 % overload for 3 s, 150 % for 57 s, and 100 % for 240 s, at -20 to +50 °C. The unit includes a built-in braking chopper and is supplied without an input filter. The FSF frame size measures 754 x 384 x 358 mm (HxWxD) and carries an IP20 protection rating, so it is intended for enclosure-mounted installations where the cabinet provides the environmental seal. No control unit or operator panel is included; the module is approved for CU firmware version V4.7 SP6.
What the overload ratings mean for sizing
The two overload curves let you size the drive to the load profile. Low-overload (LO) at 132 kW suits constant-torque applications like conveyors or mixers where the peak demand stays under 150 % for under a minute. High-overload (HO) at 110 kW handles higher transient peaks — 200 % for 3 s — typical for crushers, extruders, or punch presses that need short bursts of torque. The ambient temperature ceiling shifts accordingly: 40 °C for LO, 50 °C for HO.
Integration notes
The PM240-2 Push Through design means the power module slides into a SINAMICS G120 control unit (CU) from the front, saving panel depth. The IP20 rating requires the cabinet to handle dust and splash protection. The built-in braking chopper handles dynamic braking for vertical loads or rapid deceleration; an external braking resistor is needed and sized per the application cycle.
